China

ChinaThe postal code system in China was introduced in 1986 and consists of six digits. The first two digits represent the province or municipality, the third digit represents the district or city, and the last three digits represent the specific postal code within the district or city. Postal codes are used for mail delivery and can also be used for online transactions and address verification. In China, some large cities or districts may have multiple postal codes due to their large size or population. It’s important to note that the postal code system is mandatory in China, and all addresses are required to include a postal code.
